At such a high price, I expected an high-end app. What I got was a buggy app (cannot handle switch between vertical and horizontal) with ugly and poorly thought-out controls. Worse, if you read text off the app while recording video, you will not look as if you were looking at the camera. Isnt it the point of a teleprompter though? I wish I could get my money back.

Kind of a good App. Good Editor. Nice possibility to Import via dropbox. But the app loses connection (iPhone iPad) way too often (wifi and BT) so you cant really use it in production. Too bad.

the landscape mode doesnt work on two iphones. it makes the app useless. how do i get a refund?

What a joke! You pay a high price once and expect some updates like every other app. Instead they abandon the old version and make you pay $$$$ again! Try another option first.

iOS 9 forced me to update Teleprompt+ in my aging iPad 2. I admit it was tough paying $28 for an update to an app I bought a few years back, but wow... have things changed since v.1! The remote functions on my iPhone 6+ work perfectly with the old iPad. This is so much better than the original version with full control over mirroring. And I can edit the script on the iPhone and it is reflected on the iPad. Very nice. We are used to paying a few bucks for most apps, but this isnt Angry Birds. This is truly a pro app that works better than ever... and better than any of the other prompter apps I have tried. If you are in front of a camera for a living, time is money. Youll earn that $28 back quick and have a professional feel to your work. (Not to mention Im old enough to remember when a prompter was thousands of dollars!)

Have more or less come to the end of my tether with the unreliability of this app. I am able to sync between Macs and even sync deletions to my iPhone, but scripts will not sync via iCloud to the phone. Scripts will however sync from the phone as also the deletions aforementioned.

I like Teleprompt+ above all other prompters for several reasons, but mostly because I can use the AirTurn foot pedal as a hidden remote to stop and start scrolling. This version is an improvement over the last one. I can use more than one color in the text, and theres more wysiwyg in the editing. I have found a bug, however: the timer and speed dont seem to sync. The speed isnt consistent as it is in version 2, and the timer doesnt keep track of the actual time of the session; it pauses when I pause the scrolling even though Im still talking, so theres no way to know the actual time of my performance. This is a serious flaw that must be fixed. As soon as it is, itll get five stars.

The old version worked perfectly. This one, which I was forced to buy the night before a shoot simply doesnt work. My iphone, once it connects either crashes (a new 5S) or takes absolutely forever to sync. Once it syncs, if it does, there are no controls that designate the iphone as the controller so both screens have to be identical so if the player is mirrored, so is the controller. So I am trying to control the prompter by reading a mirrored screen. I will cancel the shoot tomorrow because of this piece of crap.

I have been using an earlier version of this app since it first can out and found it invaluable. No more shuffling though multiple pages of notes while speaking, and no need to strain to read my notes. The new version is definitely an improvement and well worth the $15. I especially like the ability to edit on the fly. If you do public speaking and dont have access to a real TelePrompTer, this is the way to go.

I continue to test the remote feature, but would never use it in it current flavor. iPad version has also been a bit buggy at times, mostly blank screen when scrolling quickly. Love the iPhone version and will stick with it.

I should have known that this app would be trouble when it crashed on me once during a dry run - it crashed during the first live speech that I gave with it and crashed out/froze my entire iPad requiring me a restart to fix. I was sent scrambling for a paper manuscript at a critical juncture in my presentation ... I love the interface, but unreliability is absolutely unacceptable during a presentation. I will revise my rating if and when the stability issues are addressed.

I use Teleprompt+ for my online education videos and for my live webinars. I have only used version 3 a couple times so far. But so far so good! I’m impressed. I love to be able to add a bit of “stage direction” to my script and to have it in a different color. I also love being able to emphasize certain words to make sure I stress certain words in order to get my meaning across more clearly. Version 3 brings some awesome improvements to an already solid teleprompt software. I highly recommend this app.

If you use a Teleprompter device for work of any kind, this app is a steal. In a world where any App over $5 is labeled “overpriced”, it is important to keep things in perspective. The functionality that this app provides is well worth twice the price.

Overall this is a great app. iOS remote control is a great feature. So far the app is fairly user friendly. Its an little pricey as far as apps go but the same app works also as a remote on multiple devices so no need to purchase a separate app to use as the remote. It was a little tricky getting the mirror image function to work properly using a remote. App support contacted me within a couple of hours of requesting help and gave me step by step instructions to solve my problem. Very helpful.

Good features. Need better support and instructions on how to use the features. I tried to export the video recording 5 times; app crashed every time regardless of the export option tried (Google, email, or Dropbox). Needed features or explanation on: 1) How to move the prompt highlighter feature, not word start area, to the top of the screen (or wherever the user wants to); 2)video example of suggested placement of picture in picture feature as to focus on words and not see the presenter "reading" script; 3) more intuitive placement of user manual4) how to video on using another IOS device to control features remotely. I can see how this app could easily get 5 stars. Need some more work done. Fix crashing issue or explain actions to take to prevent.

I love the idea, but unfortunately, it just doesnt work. Any attempts to use the remote almost always fails. Usually just when you need it to work and your talent is ready to go. The most common problem, is failing to sync the remote on the iPhone with the iPad. Once you resolve that, its common for the remote to lose communication with the iPad. So this means you cant actually control text flow for your talent. But there are other issues. For instance, using Google Drive causes a crash, although dropbox integration does seem to work reliably. My main gripe is that its so unreliable your talent will get up and leave before you ever make it work. But, if you can live with an unreliable interface, and not being able to control it during taping, then in general its a good teleprompter. I would have to say in terms of presentation, and editing capabilities, it would be fantastic... If it just worked when I needed it.

DANGER! BUYER BEWARE! This teleprompter program garbles the text and eventually crashes EVERY TIME with texts longer that 8 minutes. Really screwed me over on a professional shoot. The publishers of this program acknowledged the prior knowledge of this limitation but did not disclose the limitation in any sales info. Had I known of the limitation prior to purchase I would not have bought it as all of my scripts are 10 minutes of more. And they told me they could not issue a refund. GRRRRRR!

I bought a past version thinking that it would be my permanent Teleprompter solution. But today when I got a new phone and attempted to install the software to control the app on my iPad for a commercial shoot, I had no choice but to shell out another 25 bucks! Absolutely ridiculous!

(Updated 10/22/14: I spent time tinkering with settings and got it to work! I changed so many settings, I can not tell you which setting it was or if it was a restart that made it work. Whatever it was, at this point Im so happy that it doesnt matter now! This App Works and it Works Great! Support did contact me and was extremely helpful and courteous! Thank You Erin and Tim from Bombing Brain Interactive for your help and responses! My initial review was a little harsh as I wrote it while I was frustrated it wasnt working. I cannot be more satisfied now!) 10/21/14: The remote feature did not work. Followed all directions for connecting iPhone 5 with ipad2. Will not connect. I can get iPad to connect to iPhone. But iPhone will not control iPad this way. Contacted support. Will update as they are so inclined to help. If this cant be resolved and they will not refund the $25. I spent on this app, serves me right for not taking the earlier reviewers word on this. So let me save you some headache, listen to another one who was taken, its true, it doesnt work. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. Have a great day!
